The reporter paid a visit to Shaanxi Startorus Fusion Technology Co., Ltd on February 3rd. With a safety helmet on, our reporter entered the equipment area of the factory, where a highly futuristic spherical steel structure stands. This is the spherical tokamak device (controlled nuclear fusion device). On-site personnel were adjusting the equipment and preparing for the experiment.

As a hard-tech company, despite its short establishment time, Startorus Fusion has accumulated over 20 years of technical expertise in the field of nuclear fusion. The core team members all come from the Fusion Research Group of the Department of Engineering Physics at Tsinghua University and are one of the top teams in the country. Chen Rui, the founder and CEO of Startorus Fusion, told the reporter, "We ultimately chose to establish ourselves in Xi'an because it is the birthplace of the 'hard-tech' concept.
