In order to ensure China’s international competitiveness in this field over a long term, we should promote the market-oriented and industrialized development of fusion and provide policy, investment, and talent support.”

On March 13, 2023, the 2022 China Technology Fast Lists was released to the public by the two institutes. Startorus Fusion was listed among the Top 50 Fastest-growing Rising Stars in 2022 and the 2022 Fastest-growing Companies of New Energy and New Materials.

On February 26, Startorus Fusion made an appearance in the reports on investment in key industries and the development of advanced manufacturing projects, which were released by many national and provincial mainstream media, including People's Daily Online, Shaanxi Daily, Qunzhong News, Sina Finance, Sanqin.com, Shaanxi CNWEST, and Sanqin Daily.

In the second half of 2022, Startorus completed assembling the main body of SUNIST-2, a spherical tokamak. Its work on magnet-supporting pulsed power supplies also pressed forward smoothly. Such progress has prepared Startorus for verifying the viability of its fusion proposals and laid a solid foundation for the company to level the plasma performance of its device up to that of the world’s leading devices of the same size in the next stage.

On January 1, 2023, the 2022 China Bridge Stock Equity Investment Lists were released to the public. Startorus Fusion was among the Top 30 New Economy Companies Most Wanted by Venture Capital Institutions, a part of the Corporate Lists, for its outstanding comprehensive strength.

On November 29, 2022, 36Kr celebrated the grand event WISE 2022 King of New Economy. Themed “Long China, Long Innovation”, the conference this year focused on eight hot business topics: new energy, SmartEV, new consumption, investor, hardcore technology, digitalization, XR and meta universe, and robot.
