Startorus Fusion
Three types of signal isolation amplifiers have been supplied to well-known Chinese universities for signal acquisition and isolation on fusion plasma experimental platforms including tokamaks and field reversed configurations. The firm has transformed technologies accumulated from fusion engineering research into mass producible standardized hardware products.
Recently, Suzhou Startorus Fusion Technology Co., Ltd. (branded as “Startorus Electronics”), a subsidiary under Startorus Fusion, formally handed over three self-developed signal isolation amplifier to renowned domestic universities. The hardware serves for signal acquisition and isolation on fusion plasma experimental platforms including tokamaks and field reversed configurations. Three models are included in this delivery. Every procedure, from product finalization and mass production to individual device inspection and factory dispatch, complies with strict research level standards. The devices offer dependable front‑end signal support for universities’ advanced fusion research.
As the core electronic‑equipment branch of Startorus Fusion located in Changshu of Suzhou, Startorus Electronics undertakes the external output of the group’s industrial capacity technologies. Its signal isolation amplifiers are flagship offerings within the signal conditioner product lineup. The isolation and metrology expertise gained from fusion engineering practices has been commercialized into standardized, saleable equipment available for bulk delivery.
Fusion plasma experimental environments such as tokamaks and field reversed configuration devices feature high voltage conditions, intense electromagnetic interference and severe common mode noise, which impose strict requirements on the isolation performance and measuring precision of front end signal acquisition system. Centered on “Product-Oriented Encapsulation” philosophy, Startorus Electronics has condensed complex isolation-related requirements into standard, modular product series. Research teams can “deploy the devices right out‑of‑the‑box” and devote their precious research hours to experiments.
The three delivered products feature isolation voltage resistance up to 3000 VDC. They can effectively block common‑mode interference and surge impact from the high‑voltage side, and support the full signal chain of analogue input, analogue output and digital input and output. The two analogue isolators share the same source design. They accept ±5‑volt input, work within the bandwidth from DC to 100 kHz, own 1 MΩ input impedance and carry built‑in low‑pass filters:
WISO224-4-1U Analogue Output Isolator: Adopting an 1U chassis with four isolated analogue output channels and matches the Advantech PCI‑1720U interface card.
WISO224-32-4U Analogue Input Isolator: Adopting a 4U chassis equipped with 32 isolated analogue input channels and is compatible with the Advantech PCI‑1713U interface card.
DISO224-32-4U DISO224-32-4U Digital Input Output Isolator: Adopting a 4U chassis and 32 isolated digital input and output channels. It accepts CMOS level signals with a maximum transfer speed of 100 Mbps. Compatible with the Advantech PCI 1750 board, it meets the isolation requirement for large scale digital IO signals.

To ensure immediate operation of every delivered equipment, Startorus Electronics carries out unit‑by‑unit and channel‑by‑channel inspection on all delivered products. Key inspection items covering appearance and structure, channel conduction, gain and offset, bandwidth compliance, isolation withstand‑voltage and data transmission speed are checked strictly against product technical specifications. Products can only be approved for delivery after all measured parameters pass inspection. Each product is equipped with complete operation manuals and test reports, which support standard compliant operation and subsequent maintenance for end‑users.
